When I write a play, it is the imposed conventions that I want to highlight. It is the structures of power, starting with those that I impose on myself or that I obey without knowing it, that I try to divert. I don't want to lecture anyone. I seek, as honestly as possible, to share my fears. I find meaning in the theater when it makes me freer.
